Following are the suggestions and some techniques to get good marks in CSIR NET examination, follow them for the best results. In the NET examination, writing skills matter a lot. Many candidates who are giving the NET examination have good knowledge, but possess bad writing skills. You should be able to present all the information or knowledge in a coherent and logical manner, as expected by the evaluator like quoting the facts and substantiating your answer with desired concepts and focusing your point of view. For the NET examination, preparations must be done more critically. After going through well with the questions, you must sort out the NET question papers as per the syllabus topics.

If one judges the questions, after sometime the questions will repeat in one form or the other. Write standard answers to the question papers related to the previous years. It will make your work much easier at the UGC examination. Do not miss any concept even though it is small. Questions asked in the examination are of the Masers level. Sometimes questions are very ‘conceptual’ in nature, which aim at testing the comprehension levels of the general concepts. You must have a list of all standard textbooks from the successful candidates and also some selective good notes.

Right choice pertaining to the reading material is very crucial. However, you must not read all types of books it may create chaos or burden in your mind.

Always put more emphasize on the writing section even while preparing for objective questions. As there is much in common for study in such section.

While studying for the subjects, keep in mind that there is no scope for selective studies in CSIR.

The whole syllabus will be covered thoroughly. There will be equal amount of stress and weight on all the sections of the syllabus.

Make a note that at the end, both subjects will have exactly the same amount of maximum marks. For Mathematics and Statistics and Geography maps etc, they call for practice, which is very important. candidates need to practice other subjects and should not treat the same examination as an experience gathering exercise to get a chance for writing mains is a great thing, which you may not get again.

Solve the previous year’s unsolved papers and try to induce the atmosphere of the examination.

Put focus on the time frame. Speed is the life blood of this examination. Time management matters a lot here.

For the better writing skills, keep writing model answers while preparing for the NET examination. This helps get into the habit of writing under time constraint in the examination.

Over confidence must not be there in your writing skills, it is too subjective and behavioral.

Follow your own style of writing do not repeat and try to balance a flow in the style of your writing.

Never try to copy anyone’s style of writing in the sheet. Maintain a sequential and systematic style of answering, which come after a lot of practice and after going through the standard answers.

Try to induce the actual hours of examination to evaluate your performance and to plug any loopholes. Do not exceed the word limit, as much as possible.

Maintaining proper word limit will not only save your time, but also its influence your marks. You will not get more marks by wiring more hence it is truly it waste of time and efficiency.

It is the quality that matters, not the quantity, frequent revision of all subjects is very desirable, as you have been preparing for months or years together and it is the human tendency to forget after sometime hence revision is very required.

If you fail to revise before the examination, do not bother.

Write it in a simple manner, it will simplify the evaluator’s task and he can read the answers much more clearly.

Try to put focus and highlight the crucial points in your answers.

Paragraph writing is always better than the essay form. A new point must start with a new paragraph.

Write in bullet form, if the question needs answer in the points format.

Maintain a reliable space or gap in between tow lines. Your handwriting must be similar throughout the paper. Because of time constraint, the answers that you have written should not go from bad to worse in the further stages in the answer sheets.

You need not to count words after the answers. Practice well so that you should reflexively know the appropriate limit for the answers.

Leave a space and divide the lines between two questions, clarity matters a lot. Just be calm and have faith in yourself.
