A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Grade IV officers of the services of Indian Economic and Indian Statistic is conducted by the UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:
You should have postgraduate degree from an Indian University in Statistics or Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics.
Exam pattern:
Part I is written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks. The exam is of conventional type. Part II is viva-voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission, carrying a maximum of 200 marks.
