SSC CGL 2016 is an entrance test for Staff Selection Commission to get into after graduation in staff services in India. Staff Selection Commission will organize combined Graduate Level Examination for recruitment to different posts. The graduation from a well reputed University is the minimum qualification that is being required for the examination. Eligible candidate can apply for the respective posts before February 2015. Eligibility Criteria Age Limit:

For Inspector of Income Tax/Inspector (Central Excise)/Inspector (Preventive Officer)/Inspector (Examiner)/Inspector of Posts/Assistant Enforcement Officer/Inspector (CBN) Compiler/Divisional Accountant/Auditors/UDCs/Tax Assistants/Junior Accountant & Accountant/Sub-Inspector (CBN): 18 – 27 years (He/ She must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1986 and not later than 01.01.1993)

For Statistical Investigator Gr. II: Not exceeding 26 years (He/ She must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1987) for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI: 20 – 27 years (He/ She must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1986 and not later than 01.01.1993)

Necessary Qualifications compiler:

Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as mandatory or Elective Subject

Statistical Investigator Grad II:

Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the prime subjects or Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (with Statistics studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the prime subjects or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (with Statistics studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the prime subjects or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (with Statistics studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the prime subjects.

For all other Posts:

Bachelor’s Degree from a well reputed University Scheme of Examination the examination will be organized in 3 tiers as stated below:

Tier-I-Written examination (Multiple Choice questions)
Tier-II-Written Examination (Multiple Choice questions)

Tier-III-Personality Test cum Interview or Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test and Document Verification & Descriptive /on-line test of qualifying nature.

How to Apply:
Candidates can also apply in online manner and offline mode of application and registration but before 15 February.

 Application fee:
Women candidates as well as candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per government notifications. Other candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- selection candidates will be selected based on the written papers prescribed for different posts and interview.

Later, the merit list of all candidates will be well prepared by the commission.
